Workout Classes

Workout classes are a great way to achieve your health and fitness goals – complement your existing workout programme with a technique class or choose from a selection of classes to help you lose weight, tone up or simply feel great.

The specialist workout studio is home to our team of fitness professionals, delivering course and classes including Body Combat, Body Pump, Body Balance, Yoga and many more, there is always a class to suit you.

Class Descriptions


Aerobics
A cardiovascular and toning workout session suitable for all levels. Includes a combination of moves for you to perform at your own pace though alternative high or low impact moves. A great way to burn calories and increase fitness levels.

Aqua Fit
Offered in the swimming pool, this low impact class is an ideal way to improve fitness and muscle tone in a fun and invigorating way. This class is ideal for all fitness levels.

Body Balance
A dynamic yoga-based stretch programme combining the fundamental principles and practices of Yoga and Pilates to create a realistic workout that brings the body, mind and soul into a state of balance and harmony.

Body Combat
Combines moves and stances from a range of self defense disciplines (karate, boxing and Tae Kwon-Do), into an energetic routine.

Body Conditioning
A variable whole body workout designed to strengthen and tone the major muscles using a variety of studio equipment

Body Pump
Weight training class set to music, using barbells and weights. It will tone and strengthen your entire body and increase your fat burning potential.

Body Step
A fun and effective structured cardiovascular step class that shapes and tones the lower body

Circuits
An easy to follow effective workout consisting of a series of short bursts of a variety of cardiovascular/calorie burning movements and muscle toning/strengthening exercises.

Junior Gym
The gym has been designed for children to exercise in their own environment on specific equipment that gives them a safe and a total body workout. The machines have an intuitive push button resistance selection with no seat setup adjustments and a low starting resistance.

Legs, Bums and Tums
A low impact workout concentrating on the mid to lower body muscles to tone and tighten those all-important areas. Studio equipment may be used to increase the intensity of the class.

Pilates
A mat-based class using multi-muscle exercise techniques to help correct posture alignment and strengthen core stomach and back muscles. Performed using controlled breathing to promote well-being, flexibility, stress relief and relaxation.

Pump FX
The ultimate toning class. Utilising a barbell & interchangeable weights. High repetition weight training works well through all the major muscles in the body to assist weight loss and change body shape.

Step
The class involves doing choreographed exercise to music on a step platform. A great class for toning your legs and bum as well as blasting calories.

Yoga
You will be led through a series of postures in a dynamic flowing style giving an increase in strength, flexibility and stamina, as well as cleansing & calming in the mind. Synchronicity of breath and movement is a primary focus alongside correct anatomical alignment of the body in motion.

Spinning
The highest calorie burner on the timetable. A really effective motivation cardiovascular workout on out indoor cycles that involves no routine or coordination. This class is suitable for all levels from the beginner to the most advances of riders.

Zumba
Zumba is a dance fitness class that incorporates Latin and international music together with dance movements, creating a dynamic and effective workout. This fun Latin inspired dance program includes rhythms like salsa, cumbia, cha cha, flamenco, rock and roll and many come. Suitable for all fitness levels.
